Vitaalands Science · Method and evidence status
How the assessment works and what is still unknown. This page makes no claim of accuracy or validity.
Page version 1.3 · 8 October 2026
Our rule: no scientific claim is published without a place on our approved claims list and the founder's sign-off. That list is not signed yet, so this page covers only the method and its gaps. Version described: v48-preview-2026-09-28 (scoring model 48-prototype-0.4.0, 8 October 2026).
What it is, and what it is not
The assessment is a self-reflection tool. From your own answers, it tries to reflect how you tend to think, connect with people and make decisions.
- It is not a diagnosis and does not replace a professional.
- Scores show tendencies, not achievement, ability or rank against others.
- Your result reflects today's answers and can change over time.
- Do not use it for hiring, judging people or health decisions.
Structure
- 65 statements: 60 written ones, answered from 0 to 100 in steps of 10, and 5 that show two scenes, where you place yourself between left and right.
- 7 axes: Energy, Perception, Decision style, Planning, People focus, Structure preference and A/T tendency.
- 4 families: Strategic minds, Human minds, Grounded minds and Adaptive minds.
- 24 archetypes, six per family. Eight of them, the “bridge archetypes”, are a research hypothesis.
- 48 profiles: each archetype has an A (self-assured) and a T (self-questioning) expression.
Scoring
- Scoring runs in your browser. Without signing in, your answers are not sent anywhere to be scored. If you sign in and save your result to your account, your answers go to the account service and the result is recomputed there with the same rules.
- Each axis score is the average of your answers on that axis, with statements worded towards the opposite end scored in reverse (34 of 65).
- Statements and axes carry equal weight. How reliable each axis is depends on how many statements it has, and the model accounts for that.
- Each archetype has an openly defined example profile. A probability model estimates how well your answers fit each of the 24 example profiles, allowing for how strongly an archetype shows in answers, natural differences between people and noise in single statements. A or T is assessed separately on the seventh axis. Before the type is chosen, the model allows for a tendency to agree with everything and a habit of clicking near the middle or the ends; the axis scores shown on screen are not affected. The result is a fit share spread over the 48 types (100% in total): a top share of 70% or more shows one type, 40% to 70% shows two types, and below 40% shows a mixed profile.
- The fit share on screen is the model's own estimate; it is not yet validated with real user data and is not a measure of certainty. A neutral answer means “I could not decide” and counts as 50. Many neutral answers move the result towards a mixed profile.
- Example profiles, thresholds and the assumed size of person-to-person differences and statement noise have not been calibrated with real user data.
Not yet in place
- No norm group: results are not compared with other people's.
- No reliability or validity statistics.
- No peer-reviewed publication.
- No independent validation.
- Turkish and English are the source languages. The site's other 30 languages are drafts: most were translated with AI assistance, and none has had native-speaker review yet. Cross-language equivalence is unassessed, so do not compare results across languages.
Research
On the result screen you can mark how well the result fits you (self-reported fit). If you sign in with Google and give separate consent, these marks are sent for research.
- Fit is not evidence of validity: vague statements that suit almost anyone can also rate highly.
- Fit feedback does not change your score.
- Consent is separate and voluntary, for people aged 18 or over only. You can withdraw feedback you have sent at any time from the My account screen.
- The scope is stated in the consent text you see before anything is sent: your test answers, your result and tendency scores, your fit ratings and, if you write one, your comment. The record is kept under a pseudonymous ID linked to your account; your name and email address are not written into the research record. This is pseudonymisation, not irreversible anonymity.
If you do not sign in or do not give consent, no research data is sent. In that case your fit marks and consent choice stay on your device. See Research and the privacy notice.
What would count as evidence
Stronger claims would first need these studies. This is a roadmap, not a promise of dates or results.
- Internal consistency: do the statements on one axis agree?
- Test–retest: does the same person get a similar result later?
- Factor structure: do answers really group into seven axes?
- Relationship with other scales: do results relate as expected to established scales?
- Translation equivalence: does each statement measure the same thing in every language?
